After years of suffering from a number of chronic illnesses that will be with me for the rest of my life, I was at breaking point with the NHS who wanted to fill me with more and more medications to mute my nervous system. I wanted to reduce the painkillers and medications that were being prescribed and I wondered if I could heal myself with a target of trying to make the conditions lie dormant in my system, understanding fully that they would never go away.
